Living Room Yoga is given by Josien Suntjens and is based on Hatha yoga.
Hatha yoga consists of practicing different postures (Asanas) and breathing exercises (Pranayama). It is a dynamic form of yoga in which your breathing makes the connection between the postures. A lovely way to get out of your head and into your body.
Hatha yoga has a positive effect on your posture, you will develop strength, flexibility and freedom of movement and it can significantly reduce stress. Yoga helps to know yourself; what you encounter on the mat, you will also experience in daily life. By repeatedly returning to your breath during the Asanas, you will be able to do this more and more often. Yoga can help to keep your balance in your daily life, to listen to your body and mind and set boundaries. The result is that you get a stronger and more flexible body (regardless of your starting point), better posture, better breathing (deeper), more energy, more peace in your head and improvement in the ability to deal with stress.
